Welcome to the Sekai Project website

We are a group of fans who are dedicating our free time to work on a fully animated bishoujo game called "School Days". We started the project back in April 2006. Unfortunately, due to staffing issues and pure laziness the project didn't actually take off until the early months of 2007. Even now we are still working towards a release.

Status Update II - Kanna

Some people are saying I don't update the front page enough. I was going to remedy that problem until last night.

I have had a Nicovideo account for a while now, so it's become my daily routine to browse it. Between the Idolm@ster and FUTAENOKIWAMI videos, I had stumbled upon the newest craze: Hatsune Miku . Normally I would just watch the videos and move on, but lately there's been a bunch of selfish people uploading slideshows of her.

So as of late it has become my quest to gather as many pictures of her as possible. I'm sorry guys, she's taken my time away. OTL

P.S. In that sliver of time I have between Nicovideo, Share, and Filebank, I'm actually trying to study for midterms next week. That was the other reason I was going to tell you before I started singing the miku song.

P.P.S. My miku folder is now 700MB+ >.>

Status Update - Kanna

I figured I should at least post something for the month of October, so I guess I'll tell everyone what's going on at the moment.

It looks like we've hit a wall or two in the hacking department. While we have been able to shrink the font from the massive original size to a smaller one, we seem to have some issue now with the character limit per line. The installer we've made has now been sent for testing. Bugs are getting squashed and everything's going well. Now translation, surprisingly, has the best progress so far. We're up to episode 4 now and AstCd2 has been blasting through the game.

And for those of you who don't like to read, here's a compacted version:

  • Translation
  • Episode 1: Complete
  • Episode 2: Complete
  • Episode 3: Complete
  • Episode 4: 45%

  • Editing
  • Episode 1: Complete
  • Episode 2: Complete
  • Episode 3: 0%
