We are a group of fans who are dedicating our free time to work on a fully animated bishoujo game called "School Days". We started the project back in April 2006. Unfortunately, due to staffing issues and pure laziness the project didn't actually take off until the early months of 2007. Even now we are still working towards a release.
The Downloads section has been updated with a new version of the translated executables patch and a new certificate.

In a day or two I'll be moving servers. Instead of a shared host, or several rather, this site and all the project files will be moving to a semi-dedicated server. Everything should be functional by October 1st, provided that everything moves properly. For those of you who bookmarked our forum you can still access it during this time through. (forum is good now). This is more of a consolidation more than anything. Beneath the surface, our project is actually being maintained from three different locations. I'm sure you've seen/heard news about the cancelled airing of the final episode of School Days. It's all because a 16 year old girl killed her parents with an axe. At least we know the final episode involves someone or some people dying, preferably Makoto. Now some are you less internet-savvy readers might be wondering what this news title is about. Well, apparently it's a new meme that came out of 4chan. What happened was since TVK, the station that airs School Days today, decided to pull the episode at the last minute they needed something to fill the timeslot. What better than to use a scenery montage! So all the NEETs were surprised to find out instead of capturing the final episode, they recorded 28 minutes of junk. One person decided to screencap some of it and upload it to 4chan. The third post consisted of a boat in the middle of a river with the comment "Nice boat." The meme started when people from 2ch used it in their thread. I don't know why either, but there you go. Other than the above, there's nothing new coming out of our group for the moment. I like to call it a we're-not-dead release, mainly because we haven't had any activity for a month and people were starting to wonder if we're still alive. Well, today we are going to release a very small package for you impatient types. Thanks to the lively forum, we decided to release the game executables that were given to the testers a month back. All the startup errors are translated as well as the loading picture. The config program has been translated as well, so now you can decide whether or not to use the Z-buffer in the game! As for the actual game translation, however, you'll have to wait a while longer. - Kanna |
